Welcome to the psychiatric, rehabilitation, and habilitation area! Our mission is to offer all residents of Kronoberg County specialized psychiatric care, rehabilitation, and habilitation. Care should be provided in collaboration with other actors within and outside Region Kronoberg, with a cohesive care chain and patient participation in focus. We want to create good conditions for our patients to receive the right care and treatment from the best possible competence.

We are now looking for you who want to work as a speech therapist with us at the rehabilitation clinic, neuro unit. The position is a parental leave substitute for about a year.

The rehabilitation clinic is a specialist service for individuals over 18 years old in need of rehabilitation after somatic illness or injury. With a focus on quality of life and a holistic view, we offer individualized interventions. The most common diagnosis groups in the neuro unit are stroke, brain injury, multiple trauma, or leg amputation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will meet adults with brain injuries or neurological diseases. As a speech therapist with us, you will work on diagnosing and treating speech, voice, and language disorders, prescribing aids, investigating and treating eating and swallowing difficulties, as well as providing information and guidance to relatives and staff. In the workgroup, we will provide you with a good introduction and support in your work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed speech therapist, preferably with experience with patients with neurological diagnoses.

You have a good demeanor, collaborate well in teams, and always put the patient's best interests first. We value that you are creative, analytical, and solution-oriented. You see connections in complex situations, adapt quickly, and contribute new ideas to develop care.
